Kids' Care
Kids’ Care or the non-profit organisation “Les Amis de l’HUDERF” was founded in 1991 to contribute to the quality of life and care of sick children and their families. A number of actions have been put into place to contribute to their well-being: the creation and management of green areas, entertainment with clowns, relaxation with massages, funding for an aquarium, decoration of rooms and corridors, virtual classes, financing of games, etc.
The Belgian Kids’ Fund
The Belgian Kids’ Fund for Pediatric Research was founded in 1995 by HUDERF doctors seeking to promote paediatric research. The mission of this non-profit organisation is to give young researchers the opportunity to realise a research project as part of a doctoral thesis and to acquire the necessary skills to achieve progress in childrens' health. The association ensures that the very best medical and surgical care is provided to child patients.
