The medical imaging department is composed of radiologists trained to work with both children and adults, and adjusts medical imaging procedures based on their age, size, and specific needs.
Medical imaging techniques allow for the visualization of internal structures of patients' bodies to diagnose abnormalities, malformations, injuries, or infections.
Our specialities
Medical imaging encompasses a range of sophisticated techniques that enable healthcare professionals to visualize the internal structures of both children and adults. These examinations are prescribed by doctors and scheduled by appointment to ensure optimal care.
All of our procedures are carried out with a constant focus on comfort and well-being, regardless of the patient's age group, thus ensuring quality care for all.
Computed Tomography (CT Scanner): This technique allows for the exploration of the body's structures, such as tissues, joints, bones, and blood vessels. These examinations are performed with a medical prescription and by appointment.
Retrograde Cystography: A radiological exploration of the lower urinary tract, which requires the injection of contrast material through a urinary catheter.
Ultrasounds: These examinations, conducted using ultrasound technology, explore various parts of the body.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): This technique utilizes a powerful magnetic field and radiofrequency waves to study the body's structures.
X-Rays: These simple examinations are used to study bone and tissue structures.
Small Bowel and Esophagogastroduodenal Transit Studies: These explorations of the small intestine, esophagus, stomach, and duodenal frame involve the ingestion of contrast materials.
