After hospitalisation
Everything you need to know before leaving hospital.
The doctor in charge of your child will let you know the date and time of hospital discharge. For practical reasons discharge is usually before 11 am. At this time you will be given medicines, details of future appointments and a hospital discharge letter for your GP
Be sure not to forget any personal belongings and to return your television remote control to Admissions for the return of your deposit.
If you leave the hospital with your hospitalised child without the doctor's permission we will ask you to sign the hospital's discharge of responsibility.
