Run to Kick 2026: Supporting Paediatric Cancer Research

On Sunday 27 September 2026, the 9th edition of Run to Kick will bring thousands of participants together in Brussels' Bois de la Cambre to support research into childhood cancer.

Organised by KickCancer, this charity event raises funds for innovative research projects through the European FIGHT KIDS CANCER initiative.

All funds raised are dedicated to research. To take part, each participant pays a €12 registration fee and commits to raising at least:

  • €200 for adults;
  • €100 for children and students under the age of 25.

Participants can choose from 2 km, 5 km or 10 km walking or running routes, making it an enjoyable and inclusive event for all ages.

Team Wakili from HUDERF

As every year, healthcare professionals from the Paediatric Haematology-Oncology Department at the Queen Fabiola University Children's Hospital (HUDERF) will take part with their team, Wakili.

Their participation reflects their daily commitment to children with cancer and their families, both inside and beyond the hospital.

Would you like to support them? You can:

  • take part in the event as an individual participant;
  • or make a donation to support Team Wakili's fundraising efforts for paediatric cancer research.
