Teddy Bear Hospital – 14 November 2026: Save the date!
On Saturday 14 November 2026, the Queen Fabiola University Children’s Hospital (HUDERF) will once again open its doors to children and their families for the Teddy Bear Hospital.
For one afternoon, children are invited to bring along their teddy bear or favourite cuddly toy and discover the world of the hospital in a fun and reassuring way.
Together with their cuddly companion, they will visit a range of stands and discover the different stages of a care pathway: consultations, nursing care, examinations, vaccinations, casts, scans and more. It is a fun way for children to become familiar with medical equipment and healthcare professionals in a setting that is very different from a real hospital visit.
Who is the Teddy Bear Hospital for?
The event is open to children of all ages, with no age limit. However, the activities are particularly suited to children aged 4 to 12.
